Bob you were a lovely kind man and a pleasure to know you. Will be missed by all who knew and love you.
I first met Bob in the early 70's while working at C.E. Heath and later became his sister-in-law. He was best man at my wedding and he had a great sense of humour. He was always making me laugh (usually when I wasn't supposed to laugh). Bob was an extremely patient man and an excellent teacher and nothing was too much trouble for him. An excellent and generous host, Bob's Christmas dinners were legendary and sometimes I wondered whether the food and drink would ever end. Remembering happy times Bob, sleep well my friend.
RIP Bob. I will always think of you when travelling in France.
For all the years I knew Bob he was much like a father to me and my brother. We enjoyed playing golf together over Belfairs and was on many occasions, frustrated also. Vacations to France were very much loved too and to this day, still partaken in. I'm sure there are many who will miss him.
In remembrance of our Neighbour Bob x RIP x
